[mitk-users] for curiosity, some progress on the Mac rendering issues?

Hi,

the release notes say that there are some issues with the MITK Workbench on
Mac in version 2016.11, namely, you can either have the rendering or the
help pages working, but not both at the same time. (Sorry if I am not
describing the issue well.)

I am just wondering if this is now working on the master, or if you have a
rough estimate when this can get sorted. I know that the issue might be
somewhere down in VTK or Qt, over which you have little control.

We are a bit behind, still using 2015.05.2 with patches, but we would like
to catch up to a more up to date version of MITK.

Hi Miklos,

the issue currently remains. We will update the VTK rendering backend in the hopes that this resolves the context sharing issue. I cannot give you a definite timeline but we will have someone working on it over the next couple of months.
